After 30 minutes on the phone with Silver Airways reservation desk (Guest Relations does not take phone calls), they will not refund the money to the original form of payment.

Despite the mechanical failure of their airplane, the funds have to return to the "Travel Bank" which is a credit for future use. They said there is no way to take money from the "Travel Bank" and return it to a credit card.

I said "How do I get that money back to me?" and the agent said "Someone in accounting will review it." I asked "May I speak to that person?" and the agent said "He has been on vacation and is not taking calls. I can not forward any calls to accounting."

Next step will be a charge back with my credit card company.
