Yes, and looking at the Alaska web site, it does look as though corporate Alaska is thinking this, also.

For the 737-900:
"Some of these aircraft have one of the rear lavatories and a closet moved to the space between the First Class and Coach cabins. Our entire 737-900 fleet will be modified over the next several years to have this configuration."

This means that folks in coach have two lavs at the back and one at the front of their cabin and should therefore rarely need to use the one in FC. I just wish they were all 737-900's now.... !

I find it frustrating to have a lot of people coming through the FC cabin, but not just for its effect on me. It is also because it makes it so difficult for the FAs to provide service up front when they have to keep dodging all the extra people or shooing them back to row 6, etc. I LOVE Alaska's FC meal service served in courses and I have seen how awkward it is to provide this when there is a lot of traffic.
