One thing being discussed is the possibility of installing a "no entry" rope between First Class and Coach (that could break-away in the event of an emergency).
Personally, I don't see that occurring; it's like a not-so-subtle way of saying, "Stay in the back, you coach scum!" But some sort of a barrier is definitely being proposed.

A flat 2 or 3 inch high fabric ribbon (tastefully saying nothing but "Alaska Airlines First Class") strung across the aisle and attached by Velcro on either side would get the point across.
