I've never heard pre-recorded boarding announcements ever at Sky Harbor. Perhaps I'm not paying attention. I've only ever heard a gate agent pick up the mic and start with "CK and active military may board through the lane marked 1" or something like that.

Do you mean automated like the overheard voice at Phx that says "Mr Smith, you have a message waiting at the paging assistance location" type message?
