I've only had the card about a month.

I have a Citi AA card whose annual fee is due sometime in March 2018 and the plan was to make a token purchase on that right before I cancel to reset the clock on AA miles expiration. The AF was waived for the first year, which is why I was attracted to that one in the first place.

Then I wanted to get one of the Barclays AA cards to keep the miles active. I wouldn't mind paying the annual fee one time, if the sign-up bonus is still 50K miles next year. Especially since it doesn't have a minimum spend, other than making one purchase of anything.

Basically it comes down to not wanting to have to get another credit card if I'm never using the Wyndham one, which I won't. I signed up for the Wyndham one literally just to snatch a free hotel night for a trip I'm taking in September and that's it. It's not a good card.
