Maybe someone can help with this...trying to decide between PL and JW Grosvenor. We are staying for a week on points. First trip to London, basically just being tourists. We are only gold so the lounge isn't a factor (though I suppose likelihood of an upgrade might be--we do not frequent Marriott so I'm unfamiliar with the chance of that even happening on points). I suppose my only hesitation on PL after reading the other thread is that it looks like a number of rooms face inward and don't get a lot of light. We would consider other properties as well; I briefly looked at the Renaissance but I believe the basic room there is a queen bed and I think that would be uncomfortable.
