What bothers me is how much wholesale lying by reps that the program seems to be encouraging. In another thread here about suite upgrades people are talking about being told "nothing available" by agents even though availability clearly shows online and can be tested by reserving rooms on cancellable rates, after which the agents are still telling tales about the availability. Likewise, the WOH agent that told me "no concierge for you until 60 more nights" was also baldly contradicting the T&Cs, but just went for it anyway. It's a good way to destroy loyalty.
