I don't know of anyone holding a TD or CIBC ae privilege card. The $400 fee is high for not much benefit, especially compared to the infinite cards that kept having FYF and bonus point offers.
The CIBC version has one of the best travel insurance coverage, including cancellation for both revenue and Aeroplan flights.
Additionally, for those who do not have Altitude status with AC, the card offers 1 free checked bag, priority check-in, priority boarding, priority security clearance at certain airports, 6 entries to a Priority Pass lounge (& 4 MLL entries when flying on Aeroplan points), accelerated point accumulation, discounted hotels, plus quite a few more.
I think the $399 annual fee is good value for money.
