If there's a queue at security, the staff will invariably guide you to the front which will regain five of your 7-8 minutes, making the experience much more comfortable.
In my mind, there's a much bigger risk of getting held up from a Y seat on the plane than being irretrievably caught at immigration, which might suggest there's an awful lot you can do in terms of self-help.
Thanks for the quick response. I will be in CE - 1C i think - so getting a flying start should be easy. I just timed the walk through from security to 204 via the lengthy shopping and eating arcade and i'm confident I could do this in 5 mins or less if needed. So I'm guessing:
5 mins to immigration
5 mins at immigration
5 mins back to security
5 mins at security
5 mins back to gate.
It is very tight. Be interested to see what Karfa's timings are for this.
I assume there's no 'conformance check' like at Heathrow?
