I did a little research on precedent and while I can't remember the details, there was at least one case where the court ruled that a renumbered flight was an extension of the previous flight and thus not subject to compensation. I figured it wasn't worth bothering, but now that you say this... my flight was December 21, has it been too long now?!



I spent the day lounge-hopping! Didn't really make up for the lost day (or missing my best friend's birthday, which I'd changed my flight to make...), but it was way better than it could have been.
