The IFE varies by aircraft in BA's fleet, even within the same aircraft type. So BA has some 777s with rubbish old Rockwell Collins IFE, and some 777s with better, newer Thales IFE.

BA also has some 747s with rubbish old Rockwell Collins IFE, and some 747s with the best, newest Panasonic IFE.

Also, the aircraft rostered on a route and particular flight can vary day by day. Therefore one generally needs to know the flight number and flight date - not just the route - to check what IFE can be expected.
