Glad you bumped this. I should have come back and updated this thread a year ago.

The hotel that is on Agoda that is literally in between the terminals was perfectly fine. I haven't found another Western site to book it on. It is right between the two terminals at PVG. There are signs in English to help you find it. Only quirk I remember was being asked to leave a 50 USD cash deposit for the key, which was just your standard plastic keycard. The room was nice enough. I would stay there again if I had another overnight layover. So much better then trying to find a shuttle bus, and all of that jazz.
