For this trip we're intending on FS Chiang Mai (return visit), and Amandari/Amankila (first time). We'd like to fill in an island experience with decent snorkeling, very good food, excellent service, and not too boring for our 9-year old daughter.
Would people suggest Amanusa as a Plan B, the Maldives (feels too far, but we'd pick somewhere near MLE to cut out some travel time), or something completely different...?
Thanks once more.
Amanusa can be a stopover pre & post Amanwana .
Nearest to float plane transfers .
Do consider Wana , email ahead your requests .. an easy experience in the wilderness of a marine reserve .
With Shane helming Aman F & B Indonesia , & Lorenzo going to the various Amans , the food / menus have vastly improved . Off menu as usual too
Will be at Kila & Nusa in a few days

& can update this further
Was hoping to be at FS Chiangmai too this September , Chiangmai happening but not FS
Save Pulo for when you can stay in December or Jan !
But you must one day sooner than later ..
