We booked a SYD-SFO flight on Asiana using points on United's website. During the booking process, we weren't allowed to select seats through United.com, since the flight is being serviced by Asiana. I'm trying to select my seats using Asiana's website, but where can I find a ticket number? I have a reservation number from United, which consists of 6 letters (no numbers), and then a 13 digit e-ticket number that begins with 016. From what I've read on the forum, it looks like Asiana's begins with 988. I tried putting in both the reservation number and the 016 e-ticket number, neither of them worked. Has anyone been able to select seats prior to airport arrival when booking through United? Any tips on how I can get an Asiana ticket number? Thanks!
