Do I have to have charged the Aeroplan reward flight to my TD VISA infinite for the one-time MLL pass to work?

I am flying a roundtrip Aeroplan award on Rouge out of YYZ in Sept and I have the TD Aeroplan infinite but when I made the booking I forgot to charge it to my TD VISA and instead charged it to another credit card. The T&Cs don't have explicitly say the fare has to be charged to the card, only that you possess the card and you have a same day reward flight on AC.
