I posted a thread some weeks back about deteriorating timekeeping on EK.

My flight from DXB to NBI was delayed yesterday by an hour. The Captain was totally blase about the whole thing, no announcement until 15 mins after takeoff. A hotchpotch of silly things - baggage late to the plane, passengers late as it was a remote stand, passenger feeling unwell and unsure whether to travel (but still took the bus to the plane), airport busy and awaiting startup clearance etc etc.

Of course it was a minor delay but enough to ensure we arrived in Nairobi after the Qatar flight to a long visa queue.

It seems almost every flight these days, an hour here, an hour there. I hope this isn't the start of a downward spiral.

In fact it's funny how times change. EK slipping, big losses at Etihad, Qatar caught up in the GCC saga.
