Crew had no idea what to do because they cannot disassemble the part of the plane near my seat.
What should I do? Am I covered by any trip protection by my credit card company (Chase Sapphire Reserve)? Or should I file a complaint with Delta because their poor maintenance of the plane caused of this? Looking for advice. Thanks.
Welcome to FT where everyone defends DL and everything is your fault.....
Honestly if the OP had said "a FA took my phone, opened the door, and chucked my phone onto the tarmac" at least 50% of the responses would be blaming you/defending DL as doing the right thing.
I've lost a few items on DL planes and have a return rate of about 10% so honestly stay on top of DL but in the end it's their decision if they care enough to help you.
