With Tasmania, I was considering to go places near Hobart. With New Zealand, I'm considering places near Queenstown. Trying to find out whats best to do in each place and hear from you overall which is better.

I'm looking to do 3 days, let me know if this would be enough.

I am Australian and I say Queenstown - but I would also ask - when are you going and what do you plan to do?

Queenstown - Skiing or Hiking (depending on Month), Milford Sound, Franz Josef Glacier, Wineries, Mt Cook

Tasmania - Mt Wellington hiking, Freycinet NT, Wineglass Bay, Wineries, Salamanca Markets
