No, I will not submit to Air Canada's nickle-and-diming. I will delay check-in until all regular seats are taken, then demand adjacent preferred seats.
If we end up in non adjacent seats or bumped due to overbooking on my YUL-YHZ flight, it's ok, I'm on vacation
