This might have been pointed out before, but I could not find it.

If you arrive on Friday during the day, be advised that the Ooredoo shop in MLE airport is closed between 10am-3pm. For this reason we ended up getting Dhiraagu SIM cards as their shop was open during our 12-2pm stop over last Friday. They work pretty well too on Hadahaa.

Oh, and the latest report about the house reef: it is bleached pretty badly courtesy of last year's El Nino, but it has started to recover. We have seen patches of color all over the place when we snorkeled. The fish and so forth continue to be amazing. We have seen octopi, reef sharks, turtles, eagle rays and even a star fish that came out of the deep at the edge of the reef, took one look at us and dove back down.

We only snorkeled, but we are told that when diving one can see healthy corals 20-25m down.
