That email was merely to inform the rest of BA about events in the Brazilian station. I think some folks here are assuming it was the actual text of the letter (if any) used to inform the Brazilians.
Not here, I'm aware that this was informational for other staff within BA.
Nevertheless, it doesn't convey a sense that management views its employees as anything other than a resource to be exploited for as long as they need to do so. Perhaps this is the reality of modern business, but a company that does not value its staff does not value its customers either.
