Dear CX Board regulars!

I am holding Star Gold with Lufthansa and Thai, I have Oneworld Diamond status with BA (Gold Card), Air France Rouge Card and KLM Platinum Elite. Now my company is shifting my flight patterns out of Mumbai through HKG a lot (which is great as I love the CX product) and am thinking of switching to CX Marco Polo Club, instead of collecting BA points.

My question is:

1. Makes it sense to change in terms of treatment and mileage ratio (earning/spending) from BA to CX (Asuiamiles I suppose in terms of mileage collecting?

2. Is there a way to get CX to comp me directly to Diamond card (or at least Gold)? Do you know who is responsible for that and with whom I should take contact (local manager here in Mumbai or rather the CX MP Club)? I am also willing to make upfront payment on tickets or guarantee them revenue in a corporate contract.
