Plus, ticket was issued by Aeroplan. So, should be that Aeroplan would be responsible if there is an issue with CC. Plus, surely this is a 014 tickt, not BR stock?
They really have that requirement when you buy tickets on their web site.
Also, you would think they could only request this at the point of departure. And AC at YSJ won't ask.
Anyway, I would be extremely surprised if it were an issue. And in the worst case scenario, you could just offer to pay the $230 again, with the understanding that they'll pay it back to you when they confirm the original payment. Not a big deal really.
