I suspect it works in conjunction with the statement
"You'll automatically receive these notifications if you have flight alert added in the app wallet." and that is something separate to the gate updates you have switched on, and you have to enable something elsewhere too - which I hoped we would not have to do. I am not flying again until Saturday so cannot check until then. What I want/expect is just a push notficiation of flught number and gate without me having to remember to do anything else.
