Do I have enough time to go through customs, security and all, and still be on time to get on my flight?

I'm not sure if I also have to re-check my bags after customs or not??

Thank you!!
Are you entering the US using ESTA? If so, no worries, immigration will be fairly quick. If you're a "regular" foreigner, it'll take quite a bit longer, but 2:15 should still be enough time. (Barring no long delays or any unplanned things)

You will not have to pick up your bag and recheck in Miami, as you're on an ITI connection. After immigration, you walk out, ignore baggage claim and head straight for connecting security.
