It would be quite good if SQ worked more closely with Scoot, like Qantas and Lufthansa do respectively with their LCC's of Jetstar and Eurowings.
Things like selective through checking, lounge access for high tiers, and certain fare levels or plus packages accruing elite miles/status credits as well as a decent amount of award miles (not 250 miles for SIN-MEL, which is a complete joke).
But all these sorts of things would be well beyond constrained SQ thinking.
