I would. I said this as a bit a of a joke, but only a bit of one. I really don't like sitting in F in a 752 using 1L boarding while 150+ people parade by. Oversized carryons that they cannot control. Large groups of people together who seemingly have never been on a plane before and can't locate seat 15A. We all know who this pax is. You must see them every day.

I always try to be the nice guy in F - I'll offer (unsolicited) to give up my seat if I see two people are travelling together but not seated together (despite being given flack for this, more than once, from an F/A who was more concerned with the coat hanger tags than friends sitting together) - don't gripe if my dinner selection isn't available, etc... I just don't appreciate when people are discourteous to me - as many of these "bumpers" are.

In terms of paid fare, while there are many upgraders (and not that upgraders should make a difference), FWIW I'm usually on a paid F or J ticket.
