I've been using the Citi Prestige for AC access and that benefit just went away, and I have a domestic trip in two days. I assume if I applied and was approved today, I wouldn't have the card in hand by then, but maybe if I just gave my AAdvantage card it would have my AC membership already linked?
Alternatively, could I apply for the Executive card at the lounge and get same day access?
From the
Citi AA Exec Authorized Users now get Admirals's Club access

I got pre-approved and accepted on Saturday, and my card is due to arrive tomorrow, Wednesday, but I will by flying early in the morning and would love to use the lounge. I called the EXP desk and my account is not on file with the Admirals Club. Does it get linked when I call and activate the card? Am I out of luck tomorrow?
Update: Admirals Club membership was granted by the time I activated the card - even called the EXP desk and they confirmed I was good to go. Tried it the next day, and no probs getting into the lounge. What a great card!
