Redeeming a refundable flight on a coupon to extend validity ?
Hello,

I booked a flight last year with Delta however was unable to fly so called them. They gave me credits against that. Unfortunately, I was unable to use them and now have only 7 days to redeem it. I cant fly so was looking for options to extend it. I am wondering if I book a refundable ticket and then cancel it a day before travel, would I be able to extend my credit by any chance since it would attribute to a new ticket ?
