If you use a PC code for "$x per day off", and you only need the vehicle for 6 days, add the half hour to make it a 7 day rental. In my experience, I am usually charged the weekly rate anyway, but the coupon is deducted per day, so making it officially 7 days saves a few bucks.
The best $-off coupons available right now only take up to $30 off total, so it actually doesn't matter. Theoretically though if you could find a $-off coupon that takes up to $35 off on a per day basis, you'd have to rent for like 6 days and 3 hours since anything short of that you're charged the hourly rate. If OTOH, it was $35 off a weekly rental, then anything 5 days or over would qualify.
