On a couple of occasions flying in F, when an agent has come down the priority queue to confirm eligibility, I've been pulled to the front ahead of other Golds not in First. I found it surprising the first time, and in hindsight wish I'd politely declined.
Unless you're in row 2 on a 744 (where you occasionally have to share bin space with 1A/K) there's never a *need* to board first in F.
