I was hoping it would feel more cozy and private to me and my service dog being in the bulkhead with nobody in front of us, and with the lack of divider between the two middle seats we would feel enclosed altogether, but I wonder if it will be less private? Also, if the galley noise is so extreme it may worry my service dog. Is it that bad? Light seems a nonissue in this short day flight.
The Row 1 middle seats are the most private of all the middle seats. Because of the bulkhead, as you said. No one will get up in front of you and look back.
These J seat shells are quite low. (Unlike the 77W shell and even Zodic). So whenever someone in front of you is tall or gets up to access the bin, etc, it's easy to see them.
Galley noise will not be a big issue IMO.
