I'll keep this short, as I reviewed our first stay here just a few weeks ago (post 117 above).
- What is your Le Club status?
Platinum at the time of this stay (three nights, July 2017)
- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
We booked a standard room, as before, and this time were upgraded to a "superior" room on the third floor.
- How are the rooms?
A little larger than the standard room we got before, but not as neatly done. Nespresso machine. Having experienced both standard and superior rooms, I wouldn't advise anyone to pay to upgrade.
What was good and what was bad?
Good: Staff. Location.
Bad: The blackout blind didn't reach the sides of the window and was mounted so that it hung a couple of centimetres away from the frame, so -- this being summer -- the room was light at 5:00 in the morning.
- What about welcome drinks, welcome amenities or any other special perks?
We were given a drinks voucher, but had to ask for it this time.
- Value? Would you return?
Fair for the location and season.
