I am flying the 789 LAX-DFW in August. Just a short hop, but happy to have the upgraded domestic first seat. I travel with a small service dog, and also my husband, and I selected the middle seats in row 1 for us. I thought being able to see both of us would be a good experience for my service dog. I also chose row 1 because it was more private and would mean fewer pax walking past us. I'm always aware of others staring, since I have the service animal. I've read all the comments about row 1 above. Has anyone experienced this row in the short domestic flights? Is the noise really that bad? I'm torn in weighing up the privacy of the bulkhead and the noise/light issues that come with that.
