I priced out SFO-SYD-MEL and got this:

Total Airfare (including taxes): USD 656.06
Penalty: NONREF/NONTRANS/NONEND / VALID UA ONLY / UG CERT OK/NO MPI UG

I love this -- can't use miles but can use certificate. Oh, if only I didn't have important work things those days!
