You're right. The new program sucks, big-time.

It is more like $50 per every other stay. The $50 is an offer code which can only be used in subsequent stay after check out of BRG stay. The new stay likely cannot be BEGed again. Furthermore, the $50 discounted stay likely cannot be combined with other offer code or special rates.

It is unclear how it works for properties priced in foreign currencies.

Enjoy this last week of Hyatt BRG.

After that, Hyatt basically just match the competing rates if they approve BRG.
