I've had this a couple times. When an IB aircraft changes from e.g. A320 to A321, they move me from row 12 to row 9 to keep me in an exit row. IB e-mail me about it, but MF didn't update. Upon digging with IB I've been told the PNR shows "row 12, unconfirmed, row 9, confirmed".
