CLE car rental and things to do.... headed to Rochester, NY
Hi all,
We are flying into CLE and planning to rent a car and drive to Rochester, NY area. Hoping you all can help with logistics and info.
My husband has terminal cancer so comfort is key here.
Looking at car rentals places in the city away from the airport are much more reasonable yet we wonder if there is a shuttle available or if public transport would be doable to get there. Or should I just stop being stingy and pickup at the airport?
The drive to Rochester... time isn't a concern and a leisurely drive would be fine. Given that is one route more picturesque than another? Anything we should know about on the way?
We may have some extra time to spend in Cleveland- a day or so.... any suggestions on something to do or see for an afternoon? Husband can't walk a lot but is currently ambulatory.
BTW we have never been to either locale so it's all new. Headed for meetup of those with prostate cancer and spouses.
