The Marriott website can be a bit confusing in terms of the language it uses regarding e-certs in your reservation details. The e-cert process for your booking is automatic and electronic. Here's the T&C from the MR site:

Thank you for your response - it is a good to have a human response.

My concern is that it is part of the Protea chain and that this part of the world is known to have its fair share of 'mishaps'. Not wanting to go on a tangent but it seems commonplace in this part of the world to 'accidentally' charge $500 for car hire incidentals, or not return the deposit within a couple months. Last time we flew in as well, the jet bridge missed its intended target by about 10 metres. There is a lot talk about lost/missing paper work online... with Marriott HQ and it's chain hotels.
