The refund would process to a voucher for the amount that originally came from your voucher. So. $1200 ticket purchssed, $200 back on ur cc and$1000 in the form of another voucher. But yes, doing this will "extend the $1000."

I've got a 1000 $ transport voucher valid until Aug 31. Won't be able to use and thought of buying a full refundable Y ticket and apply the voucher to it. After a month or two cancel the ticket and get the full value reimbursed on my cc ; would that work?
