I'm SFO based, and primarily stay in the western US. I'm mostly happy with the clubs.

I access them with my Amex card, and would be quite unhappy to find my access blocked when I pay $550 a year for the card. I would guess that there are lots of us who are mid-level elites, meaning that we are loyal to delta though not with super high spend, who access the lounge in this way rather than with a membership, because of the other perks of the card.

I hope they don't open a D1 lounge network, because I think that will only hurt the main product. They should, however, expand capacity where needed.
