Exactly my view.
I believe that they tried to follow the BA Mixed Fleet concept; recruit new staff on a more productive pay scale and assign routes to them. But that was with the standard BA equipment. Given the opposition, they went through several iterations and had to create a new subsidiary with a different concept.But retaining costly pilots from AF and adopting a new not-so-LCC concept is a joke.
As far a routes are concerned, I wonder how registration will work. Some of the routes have been granted to AF, can they easily be transferred to another airline like Joon?
