SQ offers non-stop flights to PER that are often available in C. I believe all of their flights to SYD and MEL are on the 77W or 388 though, where SQ doesn't release availability except in Y. You'll need to call United to book an SQ award, though; they've been removed from United.com.

TG offers lie-flat seats in C to MEL (on the 359) and F to SYD (still a great value at 40K miles for bookings through 10/31).

Other than that, I'm not convinced that you're doing yourself any favors by holding onto miles in the hopes of finding better value. UA has been regularly increasing the number of miles required for redemption (including, as I mentioned, the one they just announced that's effective on November 1). With the upcoming elimination of the SIN-HKG flight, your only United award possibilities are going to be SFO and LAX, and it's quite rare to see Saver Business on those routes. So, all of your redemptions are going to be at the partner award rate, and none of them are likely to be cheap... and the longer you hold onto your miles, the more expensive they'll get.

In my opinion, the best way to use your miles is to go where you want to go, and use miles if the cash ticket would be more expensive than you're comfortable with. For example, you can fly SIN-ICN, ICN-TPE, and then TPE-SIN, all in business, for 80K miles (example: Jan 17 SIN-ICN on SQ, Jan 29 ICN-TPE on OZ, and Feb 13 TPE-SIN on SQ). Purchasing the ticket with cash? S$4101 / US$3003. Most people would consider 3.75 cents per mile (US) to be an excellent value. (Even the coach fare on this route is S$1281 / US$938 -- so you'd still be getting a decent value even if you're comparing business class on miles to economy in cash).
