Some luxury hotels in Korea have fancy machines but it tastes like swill. Don't know why. They ALL have capsule machines though so caffeine addicts are in luck here.
Capsule or 3-in-1 instant coffee are often limited in quality. Just for an early morning "quickie" they do the job. Once "waked" up, then I will go for better coffee. Of course, coffee from premium quality beans and made with a good coffee machine ( even better if prepared by a barista ) will taste far better than what's in the room.
