B6 didn't do anything, the wheelchair pushers work for JFK and their job is to push wheelchairs, not to be personal attendants.
This was 100% on your mother and if she is no longer capable of flying solo on whoever it is who is responsible for arranging her travel.
If that is you and you had other commitments and you could not hire someone to accompany her, then the sad fact is that she should not fly.
On the other hand, it sounds as though she handled the situation quite well.
Blaming B6 is just plain wrong.
I wasn't out right blaming your beloved B6, hence why I mentioned my mom does forget and gets confused.
But she wasn't confused when she saw the board said FLL (which she knows is Hollywood Florida because we have family there). She wasn't confused when she informed the Jetblue GA that this wasn't her flight, she wasn't confused when she informed the Jetblue hired or contracted wheelchair pusher either that the FLL flight wasn't hers. Yet both the Jetblue hired/contracted wheelchair pusher and the Jetblue Hired GA ignored her. Had she been able to get up and walk she would have, but she requires assistance to do so which Jetblue offers to her. So no I am not blaming jetblue, I am just thankful their scanner was able to convince their GA it wasn't my mom's flight since she wasn't able too.
