My wife's AAdvantage miles will expire on August 18th due to 18 months of inactivity. She will fly on Alaska Airlines with miles being credited to her AA account on August 17th. Should I be concerned that it is so close to the expiration date? Do I need to do anything in advance to give AA the heads up? Thank you.
