Well I didn't have a chef AUH-DEL/DEL-AUH or AUH-BOM/BOM-AUH, so maybe its just not there on the short India hops, but I didn't find the end result any different to when I did have the chef on my LHR-AUH/AUH-LHR flights in F. I've not flown to SIN/BKK/NRT/JNB in F so I'm not sure about the longer routes in F.
