Can they combine all the reservations at check in? Will I have to check out and check back in? Just wondering how to make this as seamless as possible. I saw a post in another hotel forum, I think it was the Hilton forum, where someone had back to back reservations and they threw his stuff away because they thought he abandoned it after it was still in his room after the first reservation. Want to make sure that won't happen to me. Thanks!
If the same room+bed type all nights, then same room all nights virtually guaranteed, all decent well run hotels view ahead of first booking for split reservations as that is not unusual, obviously hotels prefer to avoid moving guests to different room during a split-stay

If guest books different bed types eg award/cert twin beds (or standard allocate bed type on arrival) versus say king on paid, hotel has right to move you if hotel can't juggle due to just one soold out night in your block, though hotel

More an issue if guest books higher room cat for paid stay than award stay base level room.

Some hotels don't bat an eyelid if 1cat difference, and some want to try and upsell for guest to keep better room on award nights and may insist on moving a guest, especially if eg a week stay 1paid night in high cat room and 6nights in base rom on points.
