I am well aware of how Allegiant works/runs.

Main question, how likely are flight cancellations around Christmas and NY? I am perfectly fine with slight (even hours) delays, the only issues for me would be flight cancellations that would cause delay(s) over a day.

It's not just the cost of flying with them but there's no other nonstop options going from Ohio to Florida.
