Any gut feeling from the forum if United is going to provide an update? If not, I'll probably return the tablet and have to get something more expensive that starts with an A ( I really don't want to do that). I don't use the table much except for movie watching and I've been on the 747 a lot lately.
It's too bad, love the tablet, but not looking forward to watching movies on my iphone from PEK-SFO on the 747.
I had sporadic issues with my Galaxy S6 when it was on Marshmallow (6.x) a little over a year ago (737s and sometimes on UX), but no issues with it later in the year and definitely not since I've upgraded to Nougat.
I'd say that it should be fine. Not sure where the issue the previous poster has is coming from, but it worked on my GS6 running Marshmallow. Not always perfectly (it was buggy at times), but 19 times out of 20, it worked well enough.
